Idea DNA
Step 1 of 6
Start with what your audience clicks. Run the Idea dissection in the Channel Brain skill. It reads the click patterns behind proven videos, . You are capturing the patterns, not a list of topics.
Install the Channel Brain skilli
Installing a skill. In Claude, open Customize, then Skills, then Add Skills, and upload the .zip you downloaded. Once it is added it stays available, so you only do this once. To use it, open a new chat and type /channel-brain to launch it.
What is a DNA block? A short labelled chunk of text the skill outputs, like [VIRAL IDEA DNA]. Copy everything under the COPY line. That block is what you paste into your Project so Claude remembers it forever.

Script DNA
Step 2 of 6
Now the biggest jump. Run the Script dissection. It breaks down exactly how a proven video is built, . Paste the title and full transcript.i
Getting a transcript. Open the video on YouTube, click "...more" under it, hit Show transcript, and copy it. Messy auto-captions are fine, the skill cleans them up.

What is an outlier? A video that got several times more views than that channel usually gets. Outliers show what the audience actually rewards, so they are the best thing to dissect.

Thumbnail DNA
Step 3 of 6
Run the Thumbnail dissection. Upload 2 to 10 thumbnails . It extracts the composition, palette, and text rules. Then upload those same thumbnails into your Project as files.i
Upload as files. Inside your Claude Project there is a files area. Drop the same reference images there, and name them clearly like "reference-thumbnail-1" or "reference-frame-2" so Claude knows they are your references. The DNA block gives Claude the rules in words, and the named files let it see the actual images, so it matches your look far more closely.

Run the Visual dissection to lock the in-video look and grade. There are two ways to get the frames it studies. Pick the one that fits how you work.

Method B, Video Analyzer NewClaude Code users. Paste a link and it extracts the frames for you. It asks how deep to go and what to return, pick DEEP and STYLE for the tightest lock.i
What is Claude Code? A version of Claude that runs on your computer and can process video and files locally. Optional. If you do not have it, use Method A.

Build Your Project

Create a new Claude Project and name it something like "My Channel Brain".i
What is a Project? A Claude workspace with permanent Instructions attached to every chat inside it. Your DNA lives in those Instructions, so every chat already knows your channel. You will find the Instructions box in the Project settings.
Fill in your details and the four DNA blocks below, hit copy, and paste the whole thing into the Project Instructions.

Open your Project and make sure the Channel Brain skill and your everyday tools are enabled. Now the payoff. You are going to run the exact same request twice, once with no Brain and once inside your Project, and see the gap for yourself.
Step 1, the plain version
Open a blank Claude chat with no Project and no skills, run the prompt below, and keep that output. This is your "before".
